Police arrested 2 guys at Tsim Sha Tsui

December 26, 2008 (07:05pm)
After 2 hours I reached Hong Kong, I spend my time hang around at the Avenue of Stars which is not far from Harbour City and Star Ferry at Tsim Sha Tsui. While I hang around at Bruce Lee statue, suddenly I heard few peoples shouting in Cantonese just few meters from me. Then, they start punching on each others. At first, I thought it just a show to create a gimmick for tourist since it happen just few meters from Bruce Lee statue. Amazingly, in less than 2 minutes, both bad guys get pinned down by undercover cops. The best part is one of the undercover cops is a pretty young girl. After that, few security officers and cops come for backup and join the scene. Those bad guys get arrested. Finally, I realize it is a real fight.

Too bad, I didn’t record the whole scene because of too shocked. I only record it after the fighting scene. I hope you enjoy the video.

My Umrah Trip - Medina (Part 1)

al-Masjid al-Nabawi (Mosque of the Prophet).

My Story
This is the first time I go for Umrah. Part 1 of my Umrah Trip, I would like to share some of the photos taken during my trip to Medina. I hope you enjoy!

Medina is the second holiest city in Islam after Makkah. It is the place where Prophet Muhammad has been buried. Medina also called as “The Radiant City”. The location is about 338 kilometers from Makkah.

The Mosque of the Prophet (al-Masjid al-Nabawi) is the “Haram” place, where non-Muslims cannot enter this zone. The Mosque is very big, at least ten times bigger than Putrajaya Mosque. The environment is very peaceful and relaxing, except for certain places such as Raudah and Prophet’s tomb. Those two places are very pack especially after prayers. The crowds are very hard to control over there because it is super crowded. Frankly speaking, I almost get killed because of extremely crowded until hardly to breath. I cannot even move my single hand because of the space limitation is very limited. When I’ve entered the crowds, for sure there is no turning back. What I need to do is just follow the crowds. It took me half an hour to escape from the crowds. Seriously, I feel like diving without oxygen. Can you imagine that? Hahaha! This mosque is full air-conditioning. This mosque is very well-maintained by Bin Laden Group. The architecture design is perfectly done. This mosque powered by thousands of CCTV’s for security purpose. The security is very strict until cannot bring the camera inside the mosque. Good job to Saudi Government because take a very good care to this great mosque very well.

I love this mosque. I really feel like my second home already. I miss al-Nabawi so much. I really hope in the future I got another chance to come to this mosque.

Their cops are more “lansi” than us.

This is the place that where the Muslims ambushed by Quraysh armies in Battle of Uhud. 70 Muslim troops died in this ambush. More info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Uhud

Quraysh archeries attacked Muslims from this mountain.

Kurma Market. They sell variety of dates at dirt cheap price.

There are many types of dates from few different countries selling over here.

View from high altitude and that is the final layer of clouds. The sky’s color varies from pale to dark.

Saudi Arabian Airlines. That is my aircraft!

Final look before I leave Medina.

We are on the way to Makkah (the holiest place for Muslims) by bus.

See you all in “Part 2 - Makkah”.

XHYDRO Paintball Team Training #1 @ Isi Rimba

XHYDRO Paintball Team

Syamil in action

This is our first training for TM Triple Play 2008. This crash course led by Abang Lan (owner of Isi Rimba) and Badman (from Team Stingerz). Team Stingerz is a core team from Isi Rimba. They are experienced in paintball for so many years. Currently they are in Division 1. They are willing to coach us for free. Thanks a lot to Abang Lan and Badman. This crash course is done at super strict level. This is our first time trained really serious in paintball. We are train like a soldier. We train very hard on that day to cover up so many basic techniques in ONE day from early morning till late evening. We also learned about the breakout formation and tactics. Eventhough it is really tiring, but it’s a good start to level up our skills to become a better team. Overall, it’s worth for the energy and time. Thanks again to Isi Rimba. We promise we can do well in TM Triple Play paintball tournament.

Zaman Kejatuhan Malaya - Petrol Naik 78 sen

Petrol price hike up by 78 cents per liter from RM1.92 per liter to RM2.70 per liter. The new rate will effective by this midnight which is on June 05. The new petrol price is a highly burden to low-class and middle-class peoples, especially to students and fresh graduates. The funny part is, the petrol price keep increasing but then the average income in Malaysia are not increase at all. I believe it might give a very bad impact to economy soon. The inflation might become worst than before. To fix this problem, why not government open more NGV station which is the rate is far cheaper than petroleum. The installation cost for NGV tank is about at least RM2000. It’s a good investment for long-term use. I happily will install the NGV tank for my car if the government opens more NGV stations. Don’t just give the contract to Petronas, but for other gas stations too. I believe this is the best solution for now, at least!
